Healthcare IT firm MedInformatix has launched a mobile application to make patient-provider communication easier.
The MI Notify app is the company's first step toward a planned cloud-based communication platform. It enables patients and providers to securely manage appointments, procedures, and billing. Features include on-demand voice, text, and email messages, reminders for follow-up care, test results, and payment requests.
MI Notify is integrated into MedInformatix's existing RIS software. Users can select the intended notification and schedule it to send to patients without leaving the electronic health record system.
