Sirona Medical raises $40M in series D funding

Cloud-based radiology software developer Sirona Medical has secured $40 million in series D financing to expand its client services organization and commercialize its Cortex agentic AI orchestration layer.

The company said that the funds will also be used to launch Sirona Global, the company's international program, before the end of 2026.

The company’s RadOS platform combines PACS, reporting, diagnostic viewing, worklist, and workflow AI on a single cloud-based system. Sirona has more than 12 million primary imaging exams per year under contract, and its revenue grew 2.5-fold year-over-year as of September 30, according to the firm.

Avidity Partners led the round, with participation from 8VC, GreatPoint Ventures, KLT Holdings, and other new and existing investors.
