Linkoping, Sweden-based PACS firm Sectra Imtec has partnered with healthcare IT firm Eclipsys to develop Knowledge-Based Diagnostic Imaging, an integrated PACS component for the Boca Raton, FL-based vendor's SunriseXA clinical information system.
Knowledge-Based Diagnostic Imaging will provide integrated image management for radiology, cardiology, anatomic pathology, cytology, and other clinical departments, Eclipsys and Sectra said. The two companies will unveil Knowledge-Based Diagnostic Imaging at next week's Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) meeting in San Diego.
