InSiteOne inks deals with HP, adds installs

Archiving services provider InSiteOne of Wallingford, CT, and Hewlett Packard of Palo Alto, CA, have signed a five-year technology and services agreement. The product bundle comprises InSiteOne’s InDex application software on HP’ ProLiant servers running Red Hat Linux software, HP StorageWorks storage-area networks, and HP CarePAQs with options to enhance the standard warranty. HP Services provides installation and support services. The contract is valued at approximately $55 million, according to the firms.

In other news, InSiteOne, in partnership with PACS firm Merge eFilm of Milwaukee, has installed its digital image archiving and distribution services at several facilities in the NCH Healthcare System, including Naples Community Hospital, North Collier Hospital, and the affiliated Naples Diagnostic Imaging Centers in Naples, FL. Images from the facilities will be stored both onsite and at both of InSiteOne’s mirrored data centers, according to the vendor.
