Agfa lands $30 million PACS, CR deal

Agfa HealthCare will be providing its Impax PACS technology and ADC computed radiography systems to the Florida division of Adventist Health System (AHS). Following a pilot study at Florida Hospital Celebration Health, the Florida division elected to convert to digital image and information management in more than 20 AHS sites, including outpatient facilities and hospitals, Agfa said. The Mortsel, Belgium-based firm values the multiyear agreement at $30 million.
