StorageTek has joined forces with healthcare consulting firm Stockell to help customers achieve compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountatiliby Act (HIPAA). The companies will offer what they call a HIPAA Fast Path Gap Analysis.
As part of this program, StorageTek and Stockell consultants will conduct a physical and electronic assessment of an organization's ability to meet the April 14 HIPAA privacy deadline. Recommendations are then made to develop an appropriate remediation plan and timeline, according to StorageTek of Lousiville, CO, and Stockell of St. Louis, MO.
