Agfa HealthCare has received an order to install a shared PACS network in seven hospitals in the Ã…rhus district of Denmark. The Mortsel, Belgium-based vendor will replace former PACS networks in place in favor of a single Impax platform, which will enable shared use of electronic patient records, Agfa said. The order is valued at $1.07 million (U.S.).
In other Agfa news, the vendor recently installed its Impax for Cardiology system at two hospitals of healthcare organization Sentara Healthcare. Sentara Norfolk General in Norfolk, VA, and Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA, have received the systems, Agfa said.
