Samsung spins off Raypax

Korean PACS firm Samsung SDS America of Altadena, CA, has spun off PACS developer Raypax as its own entity. Samsung sponsored Samsung's entry into the U.S. market three years ago.

Raypax will now report directly to its parent firm in Seoul, Korea. The fully independent software manufacturer will also be welcoming John Hales, who has transferred from Samsung to serve as Rapax' director of sales and marketing for North America.
