Agfa lands Norwegian RIS/PACS order

Agfa HealthCare will install a Quadrat radiology information system and Impax PACS network at Haukeland University Hospital in Bergen, Norway. The installation will also include hospitals in Stord and Voss, Haralds Plass Diocesan Hospital, the Kyst Hospital in Hagevik, Bergen Casualty Unit, and the Betanien Hospital, according to the Mortsel, Belgium-based vendor.

The project, expected to be completed by the end of summer 2003, will integrate all seven hospitals with a single RIS, Agfa said. The firm also said that it will also install a separate RIS/PACS network at Odda Hospital.
