IDX Systems signed several PACS agreements in the first quarter. New clients for the Burlington, VT-based vendor's Imagecast RIS/PACS offering include: Methodist Healthcare System in San Antonio; Fairview Health Services in Minneapolis; and Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, TX.
In other IDX news, the vendor posted first-quarter revenues of $121.1 million, up 12.2% compared with the $107.9 million booked in the first quarter of 2002. IDX had net income of $3.8 million, compared with $4.1 million in the same period last year. Absent a one-time, pre-tax gain of $4.3 million, however, IDX would have had 2002 first-quarter net income of $1.3 million.
