PACS vendor Algotec has added several new features to its ImagiNet product line. The Duluth, GA-based firm has incorporated enhanced performance and customizable features to its MediSurf Web-based image review software, including a one-click, "dragging-and-dropping" of any archived patient file onto the viewing screen, where it can be compared with current studies.
MediSurf's Archive Explorer also now includes a range of customizable options for file viewing, according to the vendor. In other introductions, Algotec has added angiography tissue definition features to its MediPrime 3-D radiology reading station, allowing for semi-automatic removal of bone visualization. MediPrime can now also export cine studies in a standard video format, Algotec said.
