Agfa HealthCare has received large RIS/PACS orders from two general hospitals in the Netherlands. Medisch Centrum Alkmaar and VieCuri Medical Centre Venlo/Venray will install hospital-wide digital imaging systems in orders totaling 7.4 million euros ($8.4 million U.S.), according to the Mortsel, Belgium-based firm.
In other new orders, Agfa has completed installation of an Impax PACS network at Kantonsspital Liestal in Switzerland. The digital image management order was worth 1.3 million euros ($1.5 million U.S.), of which 1 million euros ($1.1 million U.S.) were Agfa systems and services.
