Information systems developer IDX Systems of Burlington, VT, has signed a contract with Memorial Healthcare System, a Florida-based four-system hospital group, to provide its IDX Carecast enterprise clinical and IDX Imagecast RIS/PACS systems across the healthcare enterprise. The deployment of the two systems will utilize a single database to manage all patient, film, and digital image data, according to the company.
