Dear PACS Radiology Insider,
A high-volume teleradiology service can be an excellent source of revenue, but can it also produce satisfied radiologists? At the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ, a survey has found that it can.
In a talk at the 2003 Symposium for Computer Applications in Radiology, Elizabeth Krupinski, Ph.D., reported that her institution’s teleradiology service has been a positive experience overall, and that most radiologists are satisfied with it.
Keys to success include adequate image quality and workstation interface parameters, Krupinski said. As a PACS Radiology Insider subscriber, you have access to this story before it is published for the rest of our AuntMinnie.com members. To read more about this issue's featured story, click here.
