Swedish PACS firm Sectra has released a Windows-based enterprise PACS offering, joining a Unix-based version in Sectra’s enterprise PACS portfolio. Designed for large hospitals and distributed environments requiring a high level of uptime, the enterprise edition supports high-availability clustering in all its components, and has no single point of failure, according to the Linkoping-based vendor. The Windows-based system has been installed and used in clinical operation at pilot sites, according to the company.
