Siemens Medical Solutions of Malvern, PA, plans to expand its syngo software platform to the operating room at next week’s American College of Surgeons meeting in Chicago. The company’s syngoOR software integrates medical imaging systems, workstations, and a facility’s information technology (IT) system to operating room equipment and systems.
In addition, syngoOR is designed to integrate with the OR1 product line, a network of endoscopic and surgical components from Karl Storz Endoscopy-America, according to Siemens.
