Healthcare informatics developer IDX Systems has signed Moses Cone Health System in Greensboro, NC, as its latest Imagecast RIS/PACS client. The health system, with four hospitals and two outpatient imaging centers, conducts more than 350,000 radiology exams annually, according to the Burlington, VT-based vendor.
The firm also reported a sale of its Groupcast software to the Salem Clinic of Salem, OR. The multispecialty group practice has four facilities, as well as full-service laboratory and radiology departments, the company said.
In other IDX news, the vendor posted third-quarter revenues of $101.4 million, up 14% compared with $88.9 million booked in the third quarter of 2002. For the period (end-September 30) IDX had net income of $10.3 million, compared with $4.2 million in the third quarter last year.
For the first three quarters of its fiscal year, the firm reported revenues of $292.2 million, up 15% compared with revenues of $254.8 million for the same period in 2002. For the nine-month period, IDX reported net income of $46.3 million, compared with net income of $11.1 million in the same period last year.
