PACS firm Algotec has signed a distribution agreement with Alliance Radiologie, a consortium of 250 radiologists and 120 imaging clinics in France. Alliance will provide the Duluth, GA-based firm’s ImagiNet PACS and image distribution suite to all of its members migrating to digital imaging environments, according to Duluth, GA-based Algotec.
In addition, integration with a radiology information system (RIS) from RIS vendor Actibase will also be available. Algotec expects sales through the alliance will reach 20 to 25 sites a year beginning in 2004.
