TeraRecon will highlight AquariusNet, Aquarius 3D enhancements.
TeraRecon is set to bring a number of enhancements to its AquariusNet 3-D server to the show floor. A CT/PET overlay function offers manual registration of CT and PET examinations, while a movie export tool provides for AVI file creation from 2-D or 3-D images, according to the San Mateo, CA-based vendor.
TeraRecon has also inserted multiphase support for 3-D, time-dependent MRA or CTA exams, and incorporated double oblique MPR views. A Super-Templates tool loads cases directly to the appropriate 3-D view settings, while Cube View allows for interactive review of a volume of interest.
The company has not neglected its Aquarius 3D workstation, adding applications such as segmentation analysis tracking (SAT) for masses in soft tissue or solitary pulmonary nodules. Other software additions include time density analysis (TDA) for perfusion studies, time volume analysis (TVA) for cardiac function evaluations, and vascular analysis tool (VAT) for analyzing thrombus, calcifications, and endoleaks.
Enhanced 3-D measurements have been added, as well as 3D Unfold, which lays out a hollow object such as a colon or airway. Annotation tools have also been refined, TeraRecon said. The company will also display Personal Digital Light Box (PDLB), an integrated large-format display station introduced earlier this year.
