Agfa nets Belgian PACS, DR mammo order

Agfa-Gevaert, parent company of Agfa HealthCare, said it has signed an agreement with Belgium based A.Z. Sint-Augustinus to deploy its direct radiography mammography solution, the Agfa Embrace DR, as well as its Impax PACS product.

The deal, worth more than 2.5 million euros ($2.8 million, U.S.), also included Agfa’s Impax DS3000 diagnostic workstations and a link to the existing electronic patient record via an Impax Web1000 interface, according to the Mortsel, Belgium-based vendor.
