Mammography information systems provider PenRad Technologies will be building out its product line at next week’s 2003 RSNA meeting in Chicago.
PenView is a digital alternator that allows for display of both direct digital images and digitized analog studies, according to the Plymouth, MN–based firm.
PenScan is an analog approach for capturing current and prior studies for softcopy review and archiving. Automatic DICOM routing is provided to any DICOM-compliant device, including digital viewing workstations such as PenView, CAD software, PACS networks, and teleradiology, PenRad said.
Another introduction, Pax.net, is a low-cost, entry-level archive system designed for breast imaging. PenRad will also debut PenTrac, an automated tracking system for low-volume users.
