Data Distributing of Santa Cruz, CA, has signed an agreement to distribute Ciprico’s DiMeda network-attached storage (NAS) products in the medical imaging market.
DiMeda is designed to serve as a long-term archive for medical images in a PACS network, according to Plymouth, MN-based Ciprico. The company said that DiMeda employs novel bandwidth-management software to give radiologists and cardiologists real-time access to images in long-term storage. Ciprico displayed DiMeda at last week’s RSNA meeting in Chicago.
