Agfa HealthCare has upgraded its Impax PACS product at the Landspitali University hospital in Reykjavik, Iceland.
The 850-bed facility, which encompasses the Fossvogur, Hringbraut, and Landakot external sites, performs around 110,000 exams per year, of which 74,000 are CR exams, Agfa said.
The deal is worth more than 1.4 million euros ($1.7 million U.S.) and will enable all images from all modalities, including CT and MR, to be viewed and stored in one central database connected through a storage-area network (SAN) at Landspitali, according to the Mortsel, Belgium-based vendor.
