PACS provider MedPACS Displays has made a number of improvements to its NetDisplay, TeleDisplay, and WebDisplay offerings.
Release 3.42 enhancements include: an improved image series selection tool, faster database presentation for speedier image display, and a toggle function that allows for annotation to be turned on or off when reading images, according to the Hartland, WI-based vendor. A screen timeout capability blanks the screen after a user-configured amount of time, while a listing of recently viewed studies allows radiologists to check a scan before releasing the patient, then returns to the screen they were working at, MedPACS Displays said.
