The RSNA and HIMSS’ Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) initiative offers great promise in easing the PACS purchasing process. It can also play an important role in acceptance testing for integrated RIS/PACS networks, according to researchers from Montefiore Medical Center in New York City.
