GE Medical Systems has signed an agreement with storage technology provider i3Archive of Philadelphia to offer its National Digital Mammography Archive (NDMA) to healthcare facilities in the U.S.
The agreement with i3Archive includes marketing and sales activities to distribute NDMA services, and offer the archive to customers as an integrated part of GE's breast care line, according to Waukesha, WI-based GE. With the NDMA, physicians will have access to an archival system dedicated to mammography, adding to the firm’s long-term archiving options, GE said.
