Imaging equipment supplier Xograph Imaging Systems and RealTimeImage of San Bruno, CA, have partnered to launch a clinical Web viewing system for the Gloucestershire, U.K-based firm.
Xograph ImageStream utilizes dynamic image streaming to ensure that images are downloaded quickly and are compressed in a lossless JPEG format. This makes it ideally suited for the U.K. market, where connection speeds can be slow in hospital networks and in the homes of on-call doctors, Xograph said.
