Swedish radiology technology developer AO Medical Products has debuted AW-170, an ergonomically designed workstation for soft-copy reading applications.
AW-170 includes a desk with motorized tilt and height adjustment, and automatic positioning of monitors for different work positions, according to the Stockholm-Kista-based vendor. An integrated noise-absorbing background panel provides privacy for individual viewing tasks, AO Medical said.
Other features include an integrated work light that provides glare-free light to the work surface regardless of desk position. The unit’s background panel is illuminated, optimizing imaging contrast and reducing eyestrain and fatigue, the company said.
