ORLANDO, FL - Enterprise image management firm Emageon of Birmingham, AL, has signed an agreement with Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, NY, to manage medical visualization and workflow integration from all physicians in the enterprise with its Intelligent Medical Visual Record (IMVR) system.
IMVR provides multispecialty images, related information, and advanced visualization toolsets for specialties such as radiology and orthopedics, which are dynamically selected through a single user interface, according to Thomas Pickard, Emageon vice president of marketing.
Lourdes is a 267-bed not-for-profit healthcare system sponsored by the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul, and the facility is a member of the Ascension Health network, Emageon said.
