Agfa HealthCare has received PACS contracts from sites in Denmark and Belgium.
In an order valued at 1.65 million euros ($2.1 million U.S.), the Mortsel, Belgium-based vendor will be providing its Impax PACS network to six hospitals in Vejle County, Denmark.
The Impax network will be integrated to the sites’ existing radiology information system, according to Agfa. The company expects to begin the project in the first quarter, with completion targeted by the second quarter of 2005.
In other customer news, Agfa has received an order worth 1.27 million euros ($1.6 million U.S.) from A.Z. Sint-Jan of Bruges, Belgium. Agfa will be installing Impax, as well as integrating it to the institution’s existing RIS and central medical record system.
