PACS and RIS provider Esaote Bracco Information Technologies (EBIT) Sanità will take advantage of this week’s European Congress of Radiology to debut Risolution, an integrated RIS/PACS network.
Designed for enterprise-wide radiology management, Risolution allows radiologists to get a complete overview of prior and current examinations and display images within seconds, all via a single user interface available via the Web, according to the Genoa, Italy-based vendor.
Risolution includes a suite of software modules, such as a radiology information system, image archive manager, diagnostic and clinical review workstation software, Web distribution of images and reports to clinical departments, and teleradiology capabilities.
In other company news, EBIT Sanità has closed a deal with Villa Scassi, a 400-bed public hospital in Genoa, Italy. The vendor will be extending the hospital’s existing PACS network to clinical departments connected with the radiology department.
