Three executives from digital radiology services provider Quick Study Radiology of St. Louis have purchased the company’s medical billing and practice management division and have formed a new enterprise called Evolutions.

The executives, Tom Long, president and CEO; Gail Fowler, vice president of operations; and Marie Palladino, vice president of information services, plan to establish headquarters for Evolutions in St. Louis as well as operate offices in Cape Girardeau, MO, and Evansville, IN.

The company will provide medical billing products and services to its client base of radiologists, radiation oncologists, imaging centers, and other medical specialties located in Missouri, Illinois, Virginia, and West Virginia, Evolutions said.

The firm, which has working relationships with four Medicare intermediaries, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, and other healthcare insurance companies, plans to expand its services to all 48 contiguous states in the U.S. in the next one to three years, the company said.
