GE Healthcare has completed deployment of its Centricity RIS/PACS network at the Zentralinstitut für Röntgendiagnostik at Wilhelminenspital in Vienna.
The institution implemented the Waukesha, WI-based vendor’s RIS in 1998 and decided last year to integrate it with Centricity PACS for an integrated RIS/PACS network, GE said. The institute’s 26 radiologists perform up to 100,000 studies a year, with reporting performed on the Centricity RIS/PACS workstations using integrated digital dictation, according to the vendor.
