Merge integrates Esker technology for RIS

RIS and PACS developer Merge eFilm has integrated the Esker DeliveryWare platform into its Fusion RIS solution.

The technology extends the output capabilities of Merge eFilm's RIS by enabling electronic delivery of reports through automated faxing, according to Milwaukee-based Merge. It also automates document distribution from the RIS by offering recognition, formatting, addressing, and secure delivery, Merge said.

In addition, Esker DeliveryWare offers fax, secure email, Adobe PDF, Web, archive, wireless messaging, print, outsourced fax, and print-to-mail options, as well as automated faxing, the company said.
