PACS technology provider American Medical Sales has released a new version of its Catella Scan Station, designed for high-volume scanning of x-ray media.
Scan Station 5.0 allows users to toggle between automatic and manual modes, according to the Hawthorne, CA-based firm.
In manual mode, users can utilize advanced image review and manipulation features, such as window and level settings and gamma correction. There is also a "cut" feature that allows users to split multi-image films into separate image slices, according to AMS.
