Kodak takes Irish hospital filmless

Photologic, Eastman Kodak Health Imaging's business partner in Ireland, recently installed a Kodak System 5 Web Server, archive, and two Kodak DirectView CR 500 units in Roscommon County Hospital, Ireland.

The system, which integrates the existing ultrasound and fluoroscopy modalities, permits digital image capture, viewing, and online storage, while the archive provides backup and recovery facilities at the hospital.
