Revenues at PACS software developer Cedara Software rose 50% in the company’s fiscal 2004 third quarter (end-March 31) when compared with its fiscal 2003 third quarter.
For the period, Cedara posted sales of $9.9 million (U.S.), compared with sales of $6.6 million in the corresponding period the previous fiscal year. The Mississauga, Ontario-based firm posted net income of $3.7 million, compared with a net loss of $1.7 million in the third quarter of fiscal 2003.
For the first three quarters of the fiscal year, revenues were $26 million, an increase of 52% compared with $17.2 million booked the previous year. Net income for the first nine months was $7.8 million, compared with a net loss of $7 million for the same period in 2003.
