StorComm rolls out AccessNet 5.2, taps medical director

Clinical image management provider StorComm has released version 3.2 of its AccessNet software. The new version adds features such as expanded report capabilities, increased bi-directional HL7 support, and an option for internal MPR/MIP functionality, according to the Jacksonville, FL-based vendor.

It also includes enhanced HIPAA compliance features, enhanced customization capability, and new archive management options, StorComm said.

In other StorComm news, the firm has promoted Dr. Tibor Duliskovich to medical director. Duliskovich, who has been serving as product manager for diagnostic workstations for three years, will be part of StorComm's medical advisory board and perform clinical beta testing with selected customers. He will also be responsible for the company's clinical end-user training program, according to StorComm.
