Canadian digital x-ray developer Imaging Dynamics has inked a multiyear vendor reseller agreement with PACS firm DR Systems, which will sell the Calgary, Alberta-based vendor's Xplorer digital radiography systems.
The agreement has produced a multiple-unit sale of IDC's Xplorer 1800 DR system and Xplorer 1500 dedicated chest unit to George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC, where the units will be integrated with DR Systems' PACS network. The firms are also teaming up on another order, selling an Xplorer 1500 to Crozer-Keystone Health System, a 426-bed tertiary-care teaching hospital in Upland, PA.
In other IDC news, the company has received an order from the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. IDC will be supplying its Xplorer 1800 unit to the institute, based in Ottawa, Ontario.
