The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and the Society for Health Systems (SHS) will offer dual membership to individuals interested in joining both organizations.
The collaborative agreement went into effect on May 1, and offers expanded benefits in the areas of membership, education, and publications, according to the Chicago-based HIMSS. SHS membership will still include membership in the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE), said the Norcross, GA-based society.
