PACS technology developer MedPACS Displays has released several updates to its Vista PACS offering. The new version includes the ability to "push" studies to Vista users, according to the Hartland, WI-based vendor.
After a user has logged in, any images are automatically routed to their location, MedPACS said. The company has also included a priority interrupt feature, which temporarily stops the pushed studies from being received in favor of new studies requested by the user.
The latest version also lists the studies in the archive associated with the patient currently being viewed, according to the firm. The upgrade is free to all Vista users.
