Medical informatics company Ashva Technologies has released a Microsoft Windows PC-based DICOM converter, DICON-iT.
The application runs on any PC connected to a RIS/PACS, allowing users to import image files or access standard TWAIN-compliant scanning devices. The digital files are then made DICOM-compatible and can be attached to any DICOM study, according to the Chennai, India-based firm.
