Two German firms, PACS provider Vepro and minimally invasive surgery vendor Richard Wolf have teamed up to create CORE (complete operating room endoscopy).
CORE combines endoscopy equipment with Vepro's MedImage PACS technology, all directed by a central system control, according to the Pfungstadt-based firm. Users can control CORE via a touchscreen, an autoclavable remote control unit, and a voice control system, Vepro said.
