The Society for Computer Applications in Radiology (SCAR) has funded original research in radiology informatics with two $40,000 grants for 2005, according to the Great Falls, VA-based society.
The research grants are open to residents, fellows, and faculty in departments of diagnostic radiology, radiation oncology, or nuclear medicine, as well as graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in imaging informatics or biomedical engineering, SCAR said.
The deadline for applications is September 7, 2004. Additional information about the grant process and an application form are available at the society's Web site.
