CompuMed nets California prison contract

Medical software developer CompuMed has been awarded a three-year statewide contract to provide electrocardiogram interpretation systems and services for the California Department of Corrections (CDC), according to the Los Angeles-based

Under the terms of the contract, CompuMed's CardioGram system will be used to provide remote cardiac screening for selected detention facilities in the CDC system. The CDC will rent a minimum of 30 CardioGram terminals, along with ongoing ECG remote-interpretation services, the company said.
