PACS developer MedPACS Displays of Hartland, WI, has installed its Vista PACS network at Medical Diagnostic Imaging, an imaging center in Greenfield, WI.
The Vista system installed at MDI includes 1 TB of archive storage growth per year, and was designed to manage up to 25,000 studies annually. The system is well-suited for lower-volume imaging facilities that need to pay for PACS out of their film operating budget, according to MedPACS Displays.
MDI also purchased the MedPACS HL7 module, which receives HL7 reports from the facility's RIS for storage in the archive, and a WinFilm CD-ROM writer to produce CDs for patients.
