Revenues at medical imaging software developer Cedara Software rose more than 100% in the company’s fiscal 2004 fourth quarter (end-June 30) when compared to its fiscal 2003 fourth quarter.
For the period, Cedara posted sales of Canadian $14.7 million ($11.4 million, U.S.), compared to sales of $6.6 million ($5.1 million) in the corresponding period the previous fiscal year. The Mississauga, Ontario-based firm had net income of $4.9 million ($3.8 million), compared to a net loss of $3.7 million ($2.9 million) in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2003.
For the 2004 fiscal year, revenues were $50.4 million ($39.1 million), an increase of 67% compared to $30.1 million ($23.4 million) booked the previous year. The firm posted record net income for the year of $15.6 million ($12.1 million), compared to a net loss of $13.3 million ($10.3 million) for fiscal 2003.
