DeJarnette expands product line

PACS technology developer DeJarnette Research Systems has released Ledger, a logging and reporting package for radiology department management. Originally developed for DeJarnette's Radiance PACS network, Ledger now provides HIPAA logging and reporting functionality for all PACS networks conforming to the IHE standard, according to the Towson, MD-based vendor.

Ledger offers logging and reporting of laser imager print jobs, CD and DVD media burning and distribution, Web server-based image and report distribution, and PACS workstation image and report access, DeJarnette said. It also provides automated reporting and analysis of historical printing, media burning, Web access, and workstation activity using Microsoft Excel, as well as real-time monitoring and reporting of HIPAA-related PACS activity, according to the firm.

In other product news, DeJarnette has released version 2.0 of its dyseCT software, which features an improved segmentation algorithm, handling of neurological studies, enhanced handling of CT auto-send for some CT scanners, and automatic destination fail-over and storage commit proxy capability, according to the firm.

DeJarnette has also unveiled version 2.0 of its PACSware Migration Gateway, which now supports multiple migration strategies based on study date and platter volume. In addition, the toolkit now supports priority RAID migration, prefetch based migration, ad-hoc migration, and double pitch operation, the firm said.
