Fujifilm Medical Systems USA's Synapse PACS has been selected by the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) for the DIN-PACS II contract, according to the Stamford, CT-based vendor.
The DIN-PACS II contract will be the basis under which the DOD and other federal agencies, including the Department of Veterans Affairs, will procure PACS for their own facilities. The multivendor contract is effective through September 21, 2009, Fuji said.
