Eastman Kodak Health Imaging reported that it has been selected by the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) for the Digital Imaging Network (DIN)-PACS II contract under which the DOD, Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, federal civilian agencies, and the Department of Veterans Affairs can purchase medical imaging and information systems from approved suppliers, according to the Rochester, NY-based company.
U.S. government agencies can now order the firm's DirectView PACS System 5, DirectView CR, and DR systems, Kodak said. The DIN-PACS II contract is a one-year contract with four one-year renewable options in effect through September 2009. Details of the agreement were not disclosed.
